Our Prints & Textiles
As the walks of long limbed models glide down the catwalks for the best part of September, we unleash excitement for the florals we’ve never seen before and in-depth textiles that have endured hours of work. For designers like Chloe, Dries Van Noten, and Burberry – print and textiles are smashing the boundaries of fashion and creating unforgettable garments. The importance of beautiful fabrics and detail within these, has led to this in-depth post, showcasing detailed photographs of our textiles that can only be seen this close, if purchased.
Our print designers work together to create beautiful textiles. From stunning florals to delicate embroideries – each and every design compliments its garment. There is something inherently strong about the use of musty purples, rich emeralds, coppers and creams all working together in stunning yet moody florals. Our tonal embroideries have allowed for subtle elegant textures that drape beautiful on each piece, our AW collection just wouldn’t be the same without them.
So in my last opportunity in setting the tone, I want to quickly mention a quote I found most fitting amongst the many I scoured through, something that Yohji Yamamoto told his pattern makers, and that was simply - “Fabric is everything.”
